Lake Sawyer has two portions Little lake Sawyer to the north and Lake Sawyer to the south. There is more to Lake Sawyer than meets the eye but I will leave that up to you and closer investigation. However there are no public boat ramps that I know of. The lakefront homes there often have boat docks and yes as of the day I write this power boats are allowed. On the southern portion of Lake Sawyer there is a pier you can walk out onto which is also very nice. Overall this is actually a very nice and surprisingly large lake.

The homes are somewhat diverse. You may see modern you may see late 20th century homes that come up for rent. Most likely you will see very few period. Only 20 homes for rent are available at any given time in this entire city.
