Homes for rent in Windermere Downs are often available. By often I mean there are a few in the community which rent each year. Windermere Downs is no doubt my favorite non gated community in all of Windermere. It has it all including (as shown above) some beautiful streets to drive through when returning to or departing from your home.
Windermere Downs is located on the the northwest side of Lake Down. It is a stunning lakefront community and a well established one as well. This place has everything you look for in a Windermere community. Winding streets, gorgeous shade trees, many parks for both children and adults and yes a boat ramp providing access to Lake Down and the Butler Chain. You will see a wide variety of home settings and styles in this community. All of which are in good shape and would make a terrific place to settle for a year or two while learning the area. For those interested, yes there are plenty of lakefront homes though they rarely will be up for rent.
The area is fairly secluded. But, in typical Windermere style about 10 minutes away you have a great grocery store, LA Fitness etc.
