The area is known as Dr. Phillips which is a historic portion of Orlando. The schools, local entertainment, restaurants and of course golf courses draw people to this area like wildfire.

Granada Villas is located just off of West Sand Lake Road near the Vizcaya community. The name implies villas and that is mostly what you will find here. Typically the homes are priced well and quite a few are purchased for investment purposes. There are competing communities nearby with homes for rent in a similar price range but they are not right on Sand lake Road. This community is fairly tough to beat if you want to be within walking distance of everything on Sand Lake Road.

Also nearby is of course Universal Studios, The Dr. Phillips YMCA and my favorite Volcano Bay. There is so much to do here it is incredible. Most of Dr. Phillips has older homes but recently the very last pieces of property were purchased for new construction. Those homes are nice and new but the location is not as desirable. Leasing in Granada Villas is still very tough to beat.
